By downloading or using FDNY Mutual Tracker ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is intended for adult FDNY personnel (18 years of age or older). By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
The App offers a 7-day free trial followed by an auto-renewing annual subscription at $9.99/year (or the price displayed in your local App Store at the time of purchase).
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Most schedule and log data is stored locally on your device. If you use My Crew, you authorize the App to transmit the profile and mutual information you choose to share so it can find crew members, display crew-only mutual posts, and process accepted mutual transfers. See our Privacy Policy below for full details.
The App is a scheduling aid. It is not an official FDNY tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the New York City Fire Department. You are responsible for verifying any scheduling, overtime, or mutual information independently. We are not liable for errors, missed shifts, or financial discrepancies arising from use of the App.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

FDNY Mutual Tracker

This Privacy Policy explains how FDNY Mutual Tracker ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. The App keeps ordinary schedule data on your device, while the optional My Crew features use Firebase to connect you with people you choose to add or contact.
Schedule and log data — including group numbers, tour logs, RSOT dates, overtime logs, and mutual history — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. If you enable My Crew, we collect and store the information you choose to provide for your crew profile, such as your name, company, group or FDNY reference number, email address, and optional phone number. We also receive crew requests, crew membership, mutual-board posts, and mutual-transfer records needed to operate those features.
The App offers an optional subscription ($9.99/year) processed through the App Store and Google Play. Billing is handled entirely by Apple/Google and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment information. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data to validate your subscription status. We use My Crew information to search for and connect users, maintain crew lists, show crew-only mutual posts, send or receive mutual requests, and import accepted mutual transfers. Information you choose to include in a crew profile or mutual post may be visible to the connected crew members or other users involved in that request. Your phone number is shared only with the firefighter involved when a Mutual Board trade is accepted.
We use Firebase/Google Cloud as a service provider to authenticate accounts and store and synchronize My Crew data. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. The App does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
Local schedule data is removed when you delete the App or clear its data. My Crew data is stored in Firebase while your account or the relevant crew relationship remains active. You can change or remove your crew profile, leave or remove crew connections, and request deletion of account-held data by contacting us. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
The App is intended for adult FDNY personnel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
